I was born and raised in Arthur, Ontario. In 2008, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Specialization in History. I went on to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Arts Administration – Cultural Management from Humber College and interned at several not-for-profit arts and heritage organizations in Toronto. Realizing I prefer my rural roots, I returned to London and earned my JD from Western Law with the goal of practicing law close to my hometown.
As law student, I worked at law firms in Arthur and Fergus and articled in Guelph at Nelson, Watson LLP. I was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2015 and am excited to work with the team at Nelson, Watson LLP as an associate lawyer, practicing primarily in the area of civil litigation, employment and human rights law. My upbringing and experience makes me well-suited to understand the unique needs of clients throughout Wellington County and Southwestern Ontario.
In my spare time, I like to watch documentaries, get outside and go for a run or a hike, ride horses at my family farm, and enjoy everything living in Guelph has to offer. I am also a proud member of the Royal City Roller Girls, so when I’m not at the office you might find me getting some hits in on the derby track. Look for Ruth Skater Ginsburg.
