I was born and raised in Arthur, Ontario. In 2008, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Specialization in History. I went on to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Arts Administration – Cultural Management from Humber College and interned at several not-for-profit arts and heritage organizations in Toronto. Realizing I prefer my rural roots, I returned to London and earned my JD from Western Law with the goal of practicing law close to my hometown.

As law student, I worked at law firms in Arthur and Fergus and articled in Guelph at Nelson, Watson LLP. I was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2015. As an associate lawyer at Nelson, Watson LLP, I have gained experience in the areas of civil litigation and human rights law. My current practice primarily involves advising business owners regarding a range of corporate, commercial and employment matters.

I believe my upbringing and experience makes me well-suited to understand the unique perspective of clients throughout Wellington County and Southwestern Ontario. It’s important to me to provide cost-effective, practical legal services that are well-researched and tailored to each client’s individual needs.

In my spare time, I like to watch documentaries, get outside for a run or a hike, ride horses at my family farm, and enjoy everything living and working in Guelph has to offer, from axe throwing to roller derby.

In the past, I have volunteered for the Hillside Festival. I currently sit on the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) Council representing the Central West Region, and the Board of Directors of HIV/AIDS Resources & Community Health (ARCH).
