Fiona C. Douglas, Paralegal

Fiona C. Douglas

I am originally from Guelph, and moved to Kingston, ON to attend Queen’s University, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in 2014. Following my undergraduate years, I returned to the Guelph area and currently live in Fergus with my two cats, Mia and Tilly.

In 2020, I attended Humber College’s post-graduate program and obtained my Paralegal diploma and was licensed by the Law Society of Ontario in 2021.

After working in private practice at a paralegal firm for several years, I joined the team at Nelson, Watson and I am thrilled to bring paralegal services to our clients. Please visit the Practice Areas section of our website to learn more about what services can be provided by a paralegal. I practice in various areas including Small Claims Court, landlord/tenant, insurance, social benefits, and human rights.

I am a proud member of the Board of Directors of the Guelph Arts Council and sat on the Board of Directors of Royal City Musical Productions for many years. I enjoy working in theatre production in my spare time. Working in this capacity, I have fostered a strong sense of compassion and understanding for people from diverse backgrounds, which has translated into my legal practice. I am passionate about advocacy and improving access to justice in our community.
